Now through 3/11/12
Our kids want to learn about mission trips. Landen, our youth intern, is going on a mission trip to Honduras in March. Landen's fiancée's parents (Rex and Christine Morey) are missionaries at Living Hope Ministries in Honduras.
During youth group on 3/11, Landen will be sharing what mission trips are all about and what it takes to prepare for a mission trip with our middle and high school students. The kids will be writing cards/notes and packing a suitcase full of toys for the mission during the youth group time.
We want to support this youth group event and Living Hope Ministries' annual toy giveaway by collecting 150 new fast food toys or small toys (i.e. Matchbox cars, jump rope, etc.). This effort will run from now until youth group on 3/11.
